Just when you'd given up hope, a room has been cancelled at Nent Hall Hotel for the 11 October WOTY. Jane's not up to it, 'cos of her injury.

That's a shame, Paul, we were looking forward to seeing you both. Hope Jane recovers soon.

Jane's left hand was crushed by the fireplace, stone mantle, that she used to help herself up off her knees. (Never loose before.) A&E in Harrogate then Leeds, wires inserted in her 3 x fingers while they knitted back together. Wires out week & half ago (no pain killers), but long term physio to get them working - yes she's left-handed.

So sorry to hear of the injury to Jayne's hand, hope she recovers and all well, look forward to seeing you both soon. Best wishes Karen and Jon.
 
Not good Paul - we've had a couple of similar injuries and they are so debilitating. The one thing we learned from them was to get a good private physio as the NHS provision is so stretched that they just couldn't provide the level of support to speed recovery and reduce discomfort.

Hope she is better asap.

Sorry to hear about Jane's accident, it sounds painful and a shame you both can't make it along this weekend. Please pass on our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

So sorry to hear about Jane's injury. Lisa and I hope she is back to normal soon.
The weekend was great. But would have been better with your presence. You were
both missed.
