I am organizing a weekend away for our region to the Borders Scotland I have reserved a block of rooms at the Barony Castle Hotel http://www.devere.co.uk/our-locations/barony-castle.html for one night with 3 course Dinner, Bed and breakfast for the price of only £40 each for a couple or £20 supplement if not sharing We will be taking a scenic route up to Peebles; one of the suggestions is Jim Clarks museum http://www.holy-island.info/jim-clark/ I will take other suggestions just send them to me The date for this is 8th October I will need £20 deposit each as soon as you can to get this deal Please contact me if you want to go, I will have more details at the next club night meeting

You can give me cash or a cheque at the next club night
We booked a night at the hotel last month to check out nice hotel and grounds, We where told they are having 100 jaguar members in May staying , I don't think we will get that many have reserved 12 rooms but can have more if I need them
We need to pay balance 6 week before we go

If anymore want to go to this I will need your deposit before the end of April, So far 12 cars have signed up so should be a good weekend
 
I will need the balance for this between now and our next meeting in August, I will be on holiday from the 24th Aug so needs sorting before I go away

[FONT=arial"]We will be having a quiz on the night and Deb Harm is trying to organizing a photo one of cars that we all have owned in the past, that's if we own up to them[8|]

[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=arial"]The Route sorted as well, Meeting up at Lumley Castle 9.30-9.45am going up the A68 stopping off at jedburgh woolen mill for lunch or just a break then traveling up to Duns by a few B roads look around Jim Clarks rooms and then off to the Hotel by a few more B roads. The total route is 150miles so please fill up before we stat off

As Graham mentioned, Deb is putting together a quiz for Saturday night.
Not everyone has submitted photos of their old cars yet. Can you forward any photos to me ASAP. If you don't have a photo, PM me the make & model of your former cars & we'll see if we can find a photo for you.
Of course, there's always the chance that those of you who haven't forwarded a photo already are too embarrassed to admit to owning their previous jalopies!
