Would an NGT come with Aircon?

Found this for sale on a fantastic website (check their Porsche stock)

Noticed that the pics of the engine show it with an AC compressor attached.

Am I missing something?
 
I know it's where an aircon compressor would sit - but it just doesn't LOOK like an aircon compressor to me. Certainly not the standard 964 type. It's just that I can't think for the life of me what else it WOULD be!! I'm sure there will be someone who can.

My guess is that it is for what all good 964RS's need...............POWER STEERING!!!! I know that some cars were fitted with this and I think the pipe coming off is a hydraulic one.

If it isn't, then the next most likely, IMO, is an external oil pump.
