Well I always thought that my car was always clean and shiney.....Until I used a clay product on it this weekend for the first time.I clayed the car all over and followed on with Meguiar treatment polish 1,2 and 3.I cant believe how cleaner and shiney it looks and the paintwork feels really smooth. It has rained on my car today and the rain just beads off it.
Iam really pleased and would reccomend to anyone to try clay even though you do get aching arms and a bad back it is well worth it!![:)][:)]

Yes I did 1,2 and 3 which was the wax.Looking at the clay I cant believe the grime that came out of the paint.

Yup, I was converted when I bought some Bilt-Hamber stuff last year, and tried it out on the 944.

It really is a different world of car cleaning technology to the a shampoo and Auto Glym resin polish, which I was using before.

Oli.

Funny when you think car cleaning is straight forward but when you are introduced to these different methods it opens your eyes to new things.I used to think the autoglym resin was always the answer but now I will use whats left on the engine bay and wheels.[:D]

I used the Meguirs clay on mine and was very impressed. I only did the front end though, cause the rest of the car was already free from inground dirt.

I used Omega Glaze and the some 1 grand blitz wax to finish. Although excellent (and smooth as glass) my only complaint is that the Omega stuff dries white and so it gives a nice white filling to any stone chips.

I'll put up with this though rather than spend the rediculous (and rip off) price of the Zymol Carbon - I'll buy some in the US the next time I'm there however!
