I've just bought these front pads to fit on my s2cab, but although i haven't had chance to check the calipers, at first glance i'm sure they look to long to fit.
They measure just over 131mm in length - are these the wrong size for the std s2 brembo caliper?

Yes.

S2 pads should be 98mm x 68mm

You have 250bhp Turbo front pads

Cut n pasted from a previous post:

220 bhp Turbo has pads that are 98mm x 68mm
250 bhp Turbo has pads that are 132mm x 71mm
Big Black GTS has pads that are 132mm x 75mm

Using data from my head

220 bhp Turbo disks are 298mm in diameter
250 bhp Turbo disks are 304mm in diameter
Big Black GTS disks are 322mm in diameter
