Hi All [:)]

Today I went up to Richard Armstrong at Ritech http://www.ritech-systems.com/928/_X__Pipes/_x__pipes.html

I already have an RMB fitted so was expecting LOUD !!!

Richard fitted the X-Pipes and they were VERY well made as you can see in attached picture (Stainless Steel) and extremely good welding....

Then we started the engine....WOWWWWWWWWWW

AMAZING SOUND.....not quite ARMEGEDDON but a VERY NICE SOUND ....bit too loud for a track day but I was expecting that [:D]

Then I DROVE BACK.....WHAT an experience....I have never seen so many people look in their rear view mirrors to see what just snarled up behind them [:D][:D][:D]

In built up areas ...it just echoes back from the buildings lol....lovely noise...:)

If you drive it gently its not much louder than normal UNTIL you push down on the loud pedal...then it SOUNDS AMAZING...people turn their heads from about 400 yards :)

Estimate of extra power.....hmmmm...not dynoed yet so have to guess...from seat of pants feel....around 5 to 15 hp and maybe 5 torque [8D]

Cost = £295 + vat for the pipes plus 1 to 2 hours Labour if you want Richard to fit them .

Your old box is removed and you can keep it for if you sell the car and want to keep the X-pipes for another 928.
The new pipes also have a hole for the Lambda sensor (blanked off with a bolt for a non cat car like my S2)

All the best Brett [:)]
