yes, fuel on a test drive yes, they wouldn't set ECU codes because I fitted it myself Oulton - probably neither, engine out, garage let me down...
I have spoken to then, seemingly in the 996 its not just about setting the codes, they will call you this afternoon and try and sort it out for you, CU tonight if your along, cheers

Greig, call Edinburg OPC? A bit far to go but I'm sure they would set the codes or at least give you some advice if there is more to it? C u tomorrow?? Kim

Greig there was no bullying on my part I simply said that you hadnt got the result you wanted. They checked your details that are registered on the system and said they would call and try and sort things out. The main dealers I think provide some excellent days for the club and they seem to genuinely want to improve their customer service. All I think it ever takes is communication with the correct person. I dont know the exact number of cars they repair and service every day but its a few thousand and with that number of customers in any business there is always going to be some unhappy campers. I would say that over the last two years they have hosted 6 events for us, supplied us drinks, nibbles, BBQ, health checks, have given us invites to some special events and most of the club members have managed to obtain good discounts on work on their cars and the last open day we had the whole fleet of demonstrators without supervison for a full day. I dont want this relationship to stop due to very limited issues with people being unhappy about their service and spreading it across the forums cos that has just pissed them off. I accept the forums are great for voicing opinions but they can make mountains out of a molehill. I'm glad you finally got the result you were looking for cheers scott.
