Xenon alignment

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the Xenon headlights in a 987? I know they are self-levelling and on dip they're fine. However on main-beam the brightest part of the lights is up in the trees, which is distracting as where you actually want to look appears dark.

It is possible to adjust the beam, if however the beam is in the trees chances are that the motor may have a fault

With the xenons on my VW , the adjustment needs to be done in conjunction with the main computer , otherwise the car resets the adjustment back to its original position. I suggest its the same for the Boxster , ie you adjust the headlight then reteach the control unit the position using the workshop tool. The inside of the 2005-2008 xenon boxster headlight includes a mechanical flap driven by a servo motor which lifts when hi beam is selected to allow the xenon low beam lamp to direct further down the road. Worth checking that the flap and the beam are both correct.
