Xenon Upgrade

Would like to improve my 'standard' lights and thinking about the options:

1 New 55w H7's "xenon" - lots on eBay !!!

2 Upgrade kit

Anyone done or considered doing either ?

Any thoughts on advantages/disadvantages welcome

Thanks

Mike

Sorry Mike, can't really help out there (I have the "motorised" xenons - really excellent) but I seem to recall that the Philips H7 X-Treme Vision headlamps do well in the tests. They're not too expensive and might be worth a punt. Jeff

A friend had a Cayman with factory Xenons and my Cayman has Halogens and to be honest there is not much in it. The other thing unless you fit headlamp washers and the suspension load sensors to correct the hight of the headlamps your car will likely fail MOT as this is coming in to the MOT test.

there is a current thread over on boxster forum currently re exact same issue-my response is the same and BTW there is a massive difference(IMHO)between the factory fitted bi xenons and halogens[:D]
