As the Sywell Airshow is in our region, you may be pleased to know that XH558 will be making an appearance [:)]. If you've never seen a Vulcan V-Bomber in flight, then you are in for a real treat - it is a truely awesome sight to behold!

The show is on this Sunday (24th August), and if any members plan to go, and fancy a convoy/meet, then post something up, and I'm sure we'll be able to sort something out.

Thanks for that Andy

Just checked their web site, and this is posted under Flight Ops:

Due to a technical issue with the port under carriage while repositioning the aircraft from Waddington to Brize Norton the aircraft will not be able to display at Dunsfold, Sywell or Broadlands Park.

Damn! Never mind, I will get to see the Vulcan fly this year at some time I suppose...hopefully
