the food at Coopers arms really is very good. i won't include the wine next year though as even using the raffle money (£60 on the night) we no where near covered the cost of it.... oh well don't supose we are worse off than a round of drinks would have cost us...
would like to thank Allen and Jackie for their donations of raffle prizes, and you Laura for selling the tickets on the night.
now im off to learn speechifiying ready for the OPC night on the 14th.

I concur with Laura, many thanks for a super Christmas meal. Margaret and me thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Our members are really friendly and there is a real buzz in Region 8. A big thank you for making this possible. You are both responsible for the significant improvement in the club. Congratulations and well done!
