Ya, ve see der besten ever list von superwagen ....964RS

Tom Schmitt emailed me a list of very desirable cars with the iconic 964RS very prominent in the list. Blue , silver , yellow , red , black.......never crashed, never painted etc etc

Cheered me up a bit after the Top Gear cheapo porsche saga featuring some sad 924 / 944 / 968 . Maybe they should go out with 45000 Euro to spend each rather than £1500 !

Go to Luton Airport this evening and Santa[Tom] is getting off the 6 40 ..............may have a sackfull of goodies

Does any one have any idea what happened to their www.911-rs.de website, it doesn't seem to have worked for the last few weeks?

Porsche AG closed down the use of the 911-RS URL because of copyrights on the 911 and RS terms.

The web site is now, ... wait for it...... www.germansportscars.de

You can always see a good set of pictures of his cars on www.gtclassics.co.uk

Sad all this copyright stuff. What next........ car for sale " made by company in stuttgart but not the other bigger company in stuttgart the one more famous for sportcars (bugger there famous for sportcars too) er the one in zuffenhausen, can I use zuffenhausen! if not i'm a bit stuck here. Rear engined but not to be confused with the cars made by a company in Wolfsburg. Model number sounds like gone to heaven . it's a motorsport model (oh no that's u know what in english)been stripped out and lightened to go round tracks and could take part in a race series called the something i'm also not allowed to mention Cup , has the makers service history has the makers wheels the makers spoilers etc etc etc"[] it's ridiculous.[]

Sad all this copyright stuff

Man in Pub " So what car do you drive mate??"

Me "Sorry I'm not allowed to say"

Man in Pub " Are yoo takin the p**s, mush???"

Me "No my friend, I am concerned that I may get sued for infringing copyright by the very mention of their name"

Man in Pub "Oh Jeez.... not another fecking Porsche driver"

Man in suit with wig, gown and briefcase bursts through the door "What did you just say mate???"

GT1 in Chertsey were tackled on this because they described themselves as 'Porsche Specialists'..........however, they were allowed to describe themselves as 'Specialists in Porsche'....... []

Thanks for the new URL RSR...I almost wish i hadn't looked now........H&S have that wonderful white 993RS CS for sale that was in the UK for the last few years.....I have lusted after this car at trackdays for a while now, unfortunately with the £55k asking price...I will have to wait for the Euro to start heading a bit further south...

I met up with Tom last night for a Curry as he was over here picking up that very car. The owner was also there to say his last goodbyes and Vic turned up to bring the tone down a bit.

The car is fantastic. I saw it the last time around before Tom sold it to the UK and I must say the owner has really looked after it. Unless there is one in storage somewhere you're unlikely to find better. Why wait, you're only here once. [;)]
