XMAS NIGHT OUT - Important!

LBD

New member
Unfortunately Dakota at Eurocentral are unable to accommodate our "large" party on 6th December.
As an alternative, Scott has provisionally booked Arta in the Merchant City Glasgow. They have kindly agreed to provide us with their Private Dining area from 7.30pm on Thursday 6th December.
Their xmas menu can be found at www.arta.co.uk.
So far, we have 16 members (as listed below) wishing to attend. Deposits are required by 25th November and the cost per head is £24.95. If you still wish to attend please indicate here and could you please call Scott on 07971 66 46 47 who will make arrangements with you in regards to paying the deposit/sending cheques etc. If you are unable to get Scott, please call me on 07718 516 298 and I will try to help.
Apologies for the change of venue. The team at Dakota are disappointed that they cannot accommodate us, and look forward to seeing us all in the New year at Queensferry. Hopefully by then we'll have convinced a few more west coasters into visting us there too!

Good choice Scott/Alison!. Arta is a very nice venue, one of Glasgows more upmarket Restaurant/Clubs may add. As well as the restaurant and main bar, there are two different club rooms with one playing Live music and the other playing club tunes(at the weekend anyway).

Should be a good night.

I'm digging out my lbd as we speak. Although I've seen a really nice Malene Berger one in work, but even with the staff discount it's a bit hefty. Shoe shopping on saturday, I don't seem to have any heels high enough anymore. If anyone is in Frasers eyeing up the designer section, come and say hi! I'll be the girl salivating.

Bloody hell you woman are going too some lenghts to dress up for Thursday night ...I thought it was jeans and tee shirts ... the smart casual look [:D]

oooh tell me more!
I have seen a couple of options, but with a wardrobe bursting at the seams with "worn once" ensembles, I really am struggling to justify a new purchase.

So, Jen, are you going for a dress? I'm thinking along that line too, although you had me worried about "digging out the lbd" (my user name is LBD - Little Boxster Driver). Well, I do have a couple of days off adn I am sure I could convince myself that just one more addition to the wardrobe would be ok?

See you Thursday, in your dancing shoes!

I'm currently wearing my dancing shoes on a desperate bid to wear them in before Thursday! Frasers sale, mmhmm.

As for the dress, it's currently looking like Topshops finest (girl moment: stressful job = weight loss = nothing fits any more!) Although Tesco have a fine line on frocks too. Imagine all the boys thinking we'd wear jeans?! In terms of usernames, I guess that makes me LMCD, although I did have to laugh when i rererad your post and my quote! Also, I'll probably be late, being a girl I'm getting my hair done that night after work. We're so predicatable, aren't we.

Of course, i'm just waiting for the boys to come alone and slag this post. Typical. Just because they all look shit in mascara.

well some do Scott. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time I've heard of a man colouring hair to enhance the look would it? [;)]

Jen. The hunt for a new frock has commenced in earnest!

See you Thursday!
