Surprised this is 'hot news' for Autocar - as far as I know the Powerkit has been available for some time.

In any case, the Power kit includes the PSE, worth £1,600, so you could argue that the extra bhp 'only' costs £6,600.........

I still think that they are right that the GT3 is probably the better bet if you want the extra bhp.

They do comment on the improved sound - It would be interesting to know what difference is due to the engine, and what due to the PSE!

I really wish you would put Autocar story in the headlines. To allow us readers who do not get the magazine until Thurday to be able to enjoy the lounge on the sofa all night, reading said magazine and use it as a very valid excuse for doing nothing else all evening.!
 
Typical Autocar,

Got the headline power figure wrong and failed to fill in lots of other facts like 0-62, top speed, torque etc etc readily available in the standard C2S owners manual for one.

Comparrison with the GT3 completely inappropriate too.
