Yellow coloured headlights

Hello All

I am sure this has been discussed many times, but my mates GEN2 996 lights are looking a slight yellow colour. I know this is common but could anyone recommend a decent product that would clean this up? Someone had recommended G4 glass polish but the reviews are not that great.

many thanks, Phil

Plenty of headlight kits on the market to choose from.
If not to bad try some polish or compound taking care with all compounds
Maguire do a compound
But remember to use a sealant after or a long lasting wax to seal it after all the hard work of polishing them up.

It depends if you want to do it yourself. I didn’t.

So for About £80 I got a mobile company to do mine. They had the product, tools and know-how, so saved me effectively having to practice on my own lights.

YMMV though.

Second that, for two reasons,

Firstly, if they damage them, they're paying for repairing a few hundred quids worth of a light! :)

Secondly, know how, tools and time to do it.

Autofarm did mine and I paid an hours labour and parts (just over £100 if I remember rightly) but they popped out the headlamp washers properly, I would have probably broken a clip or two. They used three grades of wet sand to get a great finish. By the time you've spent money on a kit, you may as well add more and get someone else to do it IMO. I'm all for people trying their own thing, and watching them do it, I probably could have done it myself, but glad I didn't.
