There was never a 944 Turbo with that style of gauge. The 924 Turbo had the same dash style, but I seem to recall it had no boost gauge?

There's a guy on rennlist who has the same gauges from his early 944. However, there was no such thing as a turbo early dash 944, so I doubt a boost gauge exists. IIRC, the 924 were similar (but not the same layout) and had white text. As Fen says, I don't think the 924T even had a boost gauge though.

The early 944s did have an economy guage in the top of the rev counter with this yellow script. I think it worked on vacuum from the inlet manifold so may be able to be adapted. (see page 65 of Peter Morgans Original 924/944/968 Book)

thanks for the replys

im after fitting these into a supercharged vw corrado, but id like 3 gauges including a boost gauge ideally.
mmm,i just wonder if it would look odd with these two plus a black/white boost gauge.
or if i could split a black/white boost gauge and modify it to look the same?

anyone ever split one open?

thanks.

thanks for the speedy reply,

am i right in thinking that they split from the black surround/bezel? is it just peened over the white backing part?

I don't know for certain, but they look like they are *just* peened over the back. I guess the other question is how easily the needle comes off, In which case, I see no reason why you couldn't get any proprietry 52mm boost gauge and have a sticker made up to match.
