It took a while (11 months!) but I have now found the replacement for the deceased 964 turbo.


A very nice shiny 993TT - Polar Silver - Better that Artic silver, IMHO. I even re-painted the garage floor grey to match.

Drove it back from Autobahn on Saturday [:)] Through 3 thunderstorms [:-]
 
Unfortunately not. The 964 died on the M25 courtesy of a 7kg block of concrete. At 40mph [:(]

993 appears to be a damn fine replacement though [:D]

Didn't get to use it this weekend, hired a long wheelbase transit and did Windsor to Yorkshire to collect some really boring non Porsche stuff.

I will be taking it to Le Mans in a few weeks time - Am I looking forward to that!!

5.58 Tunnel on the 14th - Anyone else?
