Talking to John Hawkins today and he asked me to let the Region know that above event will be on Easter Sunday. He requests that cars/bikes should not arrive till 0830 and says that the event will go on all day. He is hoping for 600 vehicles this time and I think anyone who attended the first event will want to be there.

Convoy from West/South Yorkshire?

He also showed me a list of what he has sold this week ranging from a Carrera GT to a 944 Turbo - there would appear to be no sign of a recession in good Porsche sales!

Hi Guys, Easter Sunday will see the second Award Winning Yorkshire Big Breakfast Meet to be held at Specialist Cars of Malton in North Yorkshire. From 8.30am free refreshments will be available, there will be a chance to catch up with old friends, meet like minded enthusiasts and hopefully you'll have a drive out first. Following feedback from the last event we are still providing the bacon sandwiches free of charge but are requesting a donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in lieu of charging for them. Around lunchtime we will be starting up one of the Formula One cars we have, an event not to be missed. The workshops will be open and some of our technicians on hand to answer any technical queries. As last time all are welcome, spread the word amongst your friends, and other owners clubs, the more the merrier. Directions are [link=http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/find_us.htm]here[/link] To give us an idea of who is coming please add your name and car to the following list (copy and paste it adding your own name) markmullen - Walking! Put me down, should be ok to make it.... Is the car sorted Matt or do you want a lift in a proper car???[;)] g

Chris - I seem to remember John said not to turn up before 0830. They have to shift a lot of their cars around to make room for us all. I'm ok for any time that suits you and Matt.

Agreed and refreshments was the term .. which is more than enough, I was just picking up on the title. To be there around 9.00am ish ?? Then we can all do other things later in the day if we have other stuff planned ? Should also beat the masses on the A64 ?

Managed to change a few things around so I will be going now and hopefully get to meet some of you guys. I will be in the Baltic blue, 930 [;)]
