I've been asked to pass on to members the details of the upcoming Yorkshire Elegance 2022 event. Below are the details and who to contact if you would like to attend.

I run a business called the Fast Lane Club and last year we ran a wonderful event to celebrate 60 years of the Jaguar E-Type Celebration at Bowcliffe Hall. Many of the guests are very keen we run something again to celebrate 100 Years of Jaguar/SS. And, many also pointed out, there is nothing like a Salon Prive or a Concours D’Elegance in the North of England – hence we have created Yorkshire Elegance, which (very tongue in cheek) will be a right good, fancy car event… in Yorkshire!
We want to create an event that will have longevity and have broadened the appeal beyond Jaguar to include other wonderful prestigious marques of which Porsche is naturally one of them (and I used to work at Porsche Leeds too so I have a big soft spot for the marque). I would like to invite the Porsche Owners Club to be part of the event.
I am currently working with the Jaguar Drivers Club, Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Bentley Drivers Club, Benjafields, Austin Healey Owners Club, Aston Martin Owners Club, Ferrari Owners Club and GT40 Enthusiasts Club to help promote the event. In return for helping raise awareness, I have offered space to display 5-10 cars with some free admission tickets to the main day at Bowcliffe Hall intended for those owners who bring their cars along which will add to the event.
In summary, I have 70 VIP places (25 sold already) available for the full event. Format is as follows:
Day 1: Harewood Hillclimb, we can cater for up to 70 classic & prestige cars giving everyone 4-5 runs up the hill, with a VIP lunch. Overnight stay at Woodhall Hotel & Spa 5 minutes away or Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa (15 minutes away). Day spectator tickets also available.
Day 2: Bowcliffe Hall Celebration Day – the garden party will feature a magnificent display of classic Jaguars to celebrate 100 Years of SS/Jaguar Cars plus we are broadening the reach to include Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini, McLaren, Austin Healey, Ford GT40’s/GT’s.
We will run a parade of the most special cars we have in attendance through the grounds around Bowcliffe during the afternoon so all guests get to see & hear the cars. The parade will start from a Marquee with red carpet and short presentation of each vehicle by Tony Jardine, with particular focus on Le Mans.
BBQ & Spanish food and Sparkling Wine will be available, and to ensure the VIP’s can enjoy the wine/champagne, we will bus the VIP’s back to the hotel. Cars can be left at Bowcliffe which is very secure.
Day Tickets for the main day at Bowcliffe are available. We can have a maximum of 1000 people at the Bowcliffe Day.
Day 3: Yorkshire Dales Driving Tour (for VIP Guests only) – guests will be brought back to Bowcliffe after breakfast to pick up their cars before heading off into the Dales. The route will include the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, Ribblehead viaduct, Buttertubs Pass with lunch at Swinton Park. The tour ends at Grantley Hall (where we had lunch last year, which proved very popular) where VIP’s will be able to enjoy an evening Dinner and overnight stay at Grantley Hall (accommodation at Grantley Hall is only available to the VIP Deluxe guests).

We can offer Porsche Owners Club members a 10% discount on any of the VIP Packages or day admission tickets.
We have a 356, 1965 911 SWB, 991GT2RS, 991 Turbo S Exclusive Servies, a 997 Sport Classic & a 991 R in our collection which we can put on display too.
