Once again Lotherton Hall will ring to the sounds of 100s of Porsche engines. Come along and join Strasse, Specialist Cars of Malton and PC Leeds to enjoy the displays, concours, trade village, live music or just the car park.

Entry is just £3 per person for those arriving in a Porsche, the voucher can be downloaded here. Entry includes the event and Lotherton Hall and its grounds.

The Concours competition will judged in three categories, Regional original, Regional modified and visitors class. If you would like to enter then download the entry form from here. Entries will be limited and on a first come basis.

The day kicks off at 10.00 at Lotherton Hall just outside Leeds (LS25 3EB).

For some reason I had this in my diary for 13th July? Shame is we have something else on on 20th, so will have to see whether this can be moved as I would enjoy coming along. []

Went to this today, really enjoyed it. Was with wife and daughter so was a spur of the moment decision, arrived late, didn't stay long and spent most of the time in the gardens and bird zoo, but enjoyed the Porsche element nonetheless :)

I was really surprised at the number of cars, I was expecting a handful so surprised to see reams and reams of Stuttgart's finest.

I took a few point and click shots, will upload at some point later if anyone is interested. :)

My daughter (she's 3) particularly liked the tractors lol.

Congratulations to Mark & Carol, and all the volunteers who made The Yorkshire Porsche Festival a brilliant success, and not forgetting the sponsors Strasse & Specialist Cars of Malton. This event just seems to get better every year, and we were just so lucky with the weather after a very wet Saturday.

Well done again.

Geoff & Julia

We really enjoyed it too. And for those who have never been in the house, it's much more attractive on the inside than the outside, full of really interesting Victorian stuff well displayed, and well worth an extended visit if you have the time available (or it rains!). We'll be back! Well done to Mark, Carol and all the participants for a great event.

Well done Mark & Carol again and of course the teams from Strasse and Specialist Cars. Not forgetting the R7 helpers.
Don't count myself (or Matthew) as our contributions we suitably non-skilled!

Lovely hot day there but it p..... down on the way home, again!

Paul.

We would like to say a big thank to Tony & Linda, Mike and Paul (bad name memory working again), Andrew, Paul & Mathew, Michael & Lisa, Chris, Linda & Michael, Peter and Daniel for all your help in keeping the day going and packing up at the end. It made the day massively more relaxing ([&:]) for us and meant that everything got packed into the car before the rain came, so this morning I will be all packed away in next to no time.

Strasse and Specialist cars put on a brilliant show for us, it was very brave of John to bring 2 Speedsters but great to see them. Between us we raised £2125 for the Candlelighters which Dave and John then bumped up by £1050 each for a grand total of £4225 which just brilliant. We are so lucky to have to sponsors that have supported the event so constantly for 20 years, it wouldn't be half the show without them.

I don't know how we managed it with the weather after Saturday and Saturday night. We brought full wet weather gear but in the end needed sun tan lotion! We are so happy that everyone still brought their cars out, this year we had some really interesting cars show up which are normally the first to shy away from any chances of rain. So well done everyone best one yet.

Will fish out photos a bit later.

Dave Lindsey mark and carol and all who helped we just want to thank all you guys for the time and effort (we know what goes into this) and planning ! what a brilliant day again . once again thank you all involved and looking forwards to the next twenty years!

John Tan Eric and all the team at Malton

cheers.
