This is our annual Regional Concours supported by our main sponsor Strasse together with Specialist Cars of Malton in support of the Candlelighters charity. As well as the concours, both sponsors display a fine selection of cars and we normally attract over 400 Porsches of all models. There will be a selection of trade stands, live music and BBQ. Last year we raised £2500 for the Candlelighters and so it would be great to get near that target again.

Calling 911s
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 911 we are putting together an evolution display of the 911, and so we require a good representation of the 911 from all models. If you would like your car to be in the display then get in touch.

Supply and demand means that we are struggling to find early cars so if you have one then please get in touch.

Concours Entrants
If you would like to enter the concours and didn't receive an entry form through the post or through PP then you can download one from here..

The entry will be limited and so a first come first served policy will be followed.

Entrance
The cost of entry will be £3 per person arriving in a Porsche on presentation of our voucher. If you haven't received a voucher through the post or cut it out of this month's PP then you can download one from here.

Hi Mark.

If you want a very shiny c4s in the display it's yours.

Looking forward to a great event.

Mike & Lisa

Sorry I can't offer the 964 this year Mark as its not up to scratch (bodyshop in September) but it will in the concours next year [;)]

Hi Mark,

Will i be able to attend the Show on Sun without pre booking?

Cheers

Mark

Absolutely Mark. Other than the concours competitions it is a turn up and leave as you please. If you look at the first post in this thread under Entrance click the word "here" to download the entrance voucher.

Ditto! Impressive turn out and the weather mainly behaved too.
Glad we made the 200m round trip to be there.

Thanks Mark and Carol for running and organising such a fantastic event. Really enjoyed ourselves.
Well done

M & L

We really enjoyed today's event - thanks and well done to all involved in the organisation especially Mark and Carol, Lindsay and the Strasse team and the Specialist Cars boys.

Interesting to see the 911T targa on display with the registration number 666 VUU. I originally bought that number at a DVLA auction about 11 or 12 years ago and it was on Sharon's Mini Cooper back in 2002!

A lovely day out and even the rain held off! Linda and I had a great day and finished off with a meal at The Scott's Arms in Sicklinghall where we were joined by another two 911s in the car park.
Thanks for your hard work Mark and Carol. See you on Wednesday.

Chris and Linda

Lindsay , Dave , Mark , Carol and all the boys and girls ! once again well done for such a brilliant day !! fantastic turn out and some lovely cars ! see you all next year !

John and all the staff at Malton

I would first like to add my thanks to Lindsay, Dave and all the Strasse staff, John and all the Specialist Cars of Malton staff, Richard, Andrew, Jon, Joshua, Chris, Linda, Mike, Lisa, John and everyone that helped put up, park, run the event, judge concours and take down. We really appreciate all your help it makes the day doable and the success that it was.

We really built on last year's turn out and managed to fill one side of the field and half the other during the day, I think we had about 400 cars in all and it felt like there were lots of people across the event. I know we have cars from down from Scotland and up from the deep south. In the face of many other events going on at the same time makes us very happy. Apart from Carrera GT (both) I don't think there was any model that didn't put in an appearance during the day and there were some really gems amongst them.

This was my first time judging the concours and I was really impressed with the quality of the cars, it was really very close with a lot of work being put in, a real credit to all the entrants.

Here are just a couple of pictures:
