Yorkshire Region Events 2010

This post contains a list of events planned for this year for both club nights and the in between times. If you have any suggestions for events or would like to organise something then please get in contact, my details are at the bottom of this post.

Every one is welcome to attend all the events, although some of the in between events may be limited on numbers. As we approach each event they will be individually advertised on the forum and you may need to sign up for some of these. If you haven't been to one of the regional events before, please come along and say hello they are usually relaxed and fun.

Club Nights

These are held on the first Wednesday of each at the Owl Pub & Hotel in Hambelton near Selby from around 8.00pm.

December 1st: End of Year Quiz.

Key:
TBA - To Be Arranged
TBC - To Be Confirmed

In Between Events

Autumn Run/Sunday Lunch
When: Sunday 14th November
Contact: Steve Tomlinson

Steve has put together a choice of two routes kicking off from Wetherby Services at 10.00 am on the Sunday morning with Lunch around 12.30. We have a choice of either the Blue Lion at East Witton link here or The Bull at Broughton link here.

Both routes look like fun so we have a choice. Please sign up and vote via the event thread: link here.

Quite an eventful year Mark.
You've put a lot of work into this organising. Let's hope we get some decent weather to go with it all.
Thanks from all your new "constituents".

Well done Mark and congratulations on becoming the new R7 organiser. The list is long and varied, hopefully we will be able to attend some of the events, thats if the b****y weather ever improves.....[]

Can I just add to the list of opportunities the Porsche RS trackday at Oulton Park March 12 ( Friday ). Have driven over to spectate the last 2 years and it is a good day out - nice cars being driven "determinedly", Admission free - refreshments available and a really good excuse to blow cobwebs off the car after winter hibernation.

Of course it all depends on the weather!!!!!

Hello region 7 - Just checking that the big breakfast is still on the 4th April at Malton. As a few of us intend to attend from Region 4.
Which charity is it in aid of this year?

Well an other White Out Sunday in Halifax

Just wandered if anyone from R7 was travelling down to Donnington on March 7th (details - 18th FEB UPDATE: Save Donington Porsche Parade 7th March 2009)

looks quite a full day, can't see any R7 names on the list

Seriously thinking about it however

1. Not if weather is like it is today!
2. Bit of an early start - if you want Porsche parking need to be there for 0800.
3. Not sure what time you can leave.

Anyone else thinking about it?

Sure is but I don't know what charity they are supporting. In the past it has been the air ambulance. This is the Big Breakfast thread:http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=519051
