Aged between 17-22. Not sure I'd scrape in, thats before putting the lottery ticket in.

Even with those two ages added together most of you wouldn't scrape in. [:D]

(To mention nothing of the National A licence ... )

But isn't this the oxymoron ?

Licence probably.

Age, yes.

Money --- sh*t.

So what is it to be, drugs or prostitution ??

(Or nepotism ?)

National A licence is just a national B (ARDS test only) plus 6 signatures, not that hard to get really (even I have one!!)

Hugh, I'm probably going to do my ARDS test later in the year and apply for my National B in the New Year.

For what does one accumulate signatures ?

Is there a time limit or ? [;)]

Hurrah! Signitures for finishing races. At the end of a race you go back to Race control and they add signitures to your license (CoC). Once you have 6 you can apply for a national A.

Often at club events you will see some pretty heavy top flight machinery running around the back of a clubbie series, more than likely the racers are foriegn, and are out to collect signitures to gain the right license.

To be honest you need a Nat A if you are going to race in some pretty high line stuff in the UK, or more likely abraod with a UK based club. For example to race at Spa we've always needed a National A.
