Sorry if you thinks no-one cares, some do its just we don't all have the answers.
Try some of the other porsche forums too...
The trouble is i've just sold my SC and it now lives in France - so a bit far a way to nip out for a look.
I even looked at the back of my Haynes manual at the wiring diagram - but I understand them even less than I understand Sudoku.
Come on guys - someone out there must be able to nip out and have a look?

I 've made a diagram for you , this is a 79MY car and people may have changed the wiring in the first five years of ownership before I got my hands on it. The wiring colours don't make sense to me according to the wiring diagrams so tread carefully but eveything works ok in my hotrod. I had a little difficulty recognising the exact coulur of one red wire as it was a little burned and discoloured, also the wires are old so recognising for instance if a red wire was brown or a dirty red or brown/red was difficult. Most are as written.
