OK, so the misses owes me a medium-sized birthday present (now that the helmet is going to wait until Autosport show in January), plus, I could do with covering up a smallish paint blemish on my badge panel. I know these things are very subjective, but what is the general consensus from the forum on the below? Prefer the offset one myself...

I dont like the man, so Id look elsewhere. If I had to buy one then Id probably prefer the grey over (different) grey stripe, or a Gulf type: although your car colour doesnt really suit any.

Hmm thats a difficult one Ben as it's a very personal choice, personally I do not like added go faster stripes, logo's etc. But others do , each to their own I guess of course if it's a track car then that's a different matter all together.

I'd go for the offset one too.

You're starting to tempt me - my one is white, and those
graphics do look good......

My thoughts entirely, wouldn't fit on an OE road car, but on a road/track car with buckets, cage and no rear seats etc....?!

In that case Ben........ offset...[8D]

So are you saying you've got another car to stick this on? Or your Mrs is coughing up for another car with stripes on as an extra special pressie?[;)] If so, centrered, like the red one. Your black car looks too tasty to do this to in my opinion...

I can't think it would look any good at all on a black car???

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though [;)]

Me neither, I can't really visualise it but it looks "contrived" to me on the red car. What about a set of gold JPS logos, they worked on a black car even if it wasn't a 944.....[8|]

problem for me is martini is an iconic 911 scheme, just doenst look right on a 944

best 944 scheme i came up with was this one;

couple 911s i decked out in losely historic martini liveries;

Mmmm, Jagermiester. Brings back many memories of Apres ski that went long on into the night!!

I can't imagine what the Martini scheme would look like on a black car, but it looks great on a white one. Go on Scotty - it wont compromise the originality of your car too much!

My opinion would be to sort out the blemish on the badge panel but otherwise a monotone white or silver centre Martini stripe may look ok.

Didn't expect it to look anything like as good as that. Personally I would not be putting free advertising on my car for someone else.

Top man Pastry! Now that looks good! If you could add deep dish rims with black spokes that would be my actual car! I was 50-50, think I'm possibly 70-30 now. I'm being mega cheeky now, but would those wheels be possible Pastry?
