Zenith Blue wheel colour?

1959terry

New member
My wheels need some work and I intend getting the full monty done and thought that the wheels may stand out more in black or a very dark grey.

What do you think?

If anyone has photo's of a Zenith Blue 996 with black wheels then please show me before I commit

Looks good with the polished rim as it breaks it up between tyre and wheel.
Does anyone know what these rims are?

Just had my split rims refurbed and kept them slightly darker than silver.
Was toying with matching them with car colour but thought that would look naff!

I don't know what those are, but my personal opinion is that if you paint wheels black all you see is black wheels. IMO you lose so much "spoke definition". As you can tell, I'm not a lover of them! Grey accents can look good on the right wheels, like Sport Classics, especially with polished rims. What wheels have you got on the car at the moment?

Just the factory 17" cup wheels. I am however looking on fleabay to see if something better comes up before I splash out on the refurbishment. Maybe someone in the London or Kent area has some they want to get rid of?

Just bought some 18" gt3 split rims. I am going to run them until I need to refurbish them and when I do I may do them black and silver.
