Zentrum Open Day?

We run a 56 plate Cayman which is due its ten year major service around June 2016.

In principle, I'd be happy to take my car to Zentrum as I know other PCGB R8 members know them and trust them.

It would be helpful for us all, and would give me greater confidence, if Zentrum were to host an open day for R8 this Spring as other independents do (eg, JZ Machtech) so that we could meet them before committing to the work.

Those who know them best would be well placed to investigate this idea. Any chance of this happening? [strike][/strike]

Great idea. One other thought, just go and see them and ask for the tour. Ask questions and generally put them to the test.

You may also invite PMs from people with horror stories to share. Many will not want to publicly post critical commentary.

Thanks, the latter would be against forum policy and be deleted in any case.

I use Zentrum. They rebuilt my engine and service my 997. I would recommend them. Very helpful and obliging. All Porsche trained with a wealth of knowledge.

I also use them, Mike and James are always very helpful and accomodating - they rebuilt my 964 engine recently too..

Good advice on here. Just pop in and see Mike and James, I'm sure they will be only too happy to give you a tour.
They have discussed an open day with us but have been very busy recently which is always a good omen
They look after all our Porsches and personally we cannot recommend them high enough.
Cheers

They have done open days/evenings for PCGB in the past so it would be worth someone having a chat with them. I am no longer in R8 else i'd volenteer.
