Thanks to Ralph from the Modified register we have arranged a zoom Event for August 5th to Talk about 996 Suspension with Centre Gravity's Chris Franklin.
MailChimp invitations will be sent out to members of both registers next week.
Regards
Andy

Hi All
The MailChimp notification for this zoom event has been sent out this afternoon.
regards
Andy

We will look at either recording the event or running it again. This event is for the 996 and Modified membership (there is always a practical limit to attendees) but of course the mid-engined cars share the same front layout but have just the strut rear arrangement.

Let’s see how this first one goes, I am keen to run such events across registers where possible and I ran the first Cayman zoom call so watch this and that forum.

Think must have been oversubscribed I tried to get in but just got message host on another meeting. Glad it was well supported ??

We've just finished the event which seemed to be very well received. It was recorded and I received a message from zoomland saying I would receive an email when the recording was ready. I then need to look at it (just to ensure it is of the meeting and it starts, ends and has a middle I recognise) and then we'll see how we can make it available.

Ralph

Hi, no problem just glad well supported ( know from bitter experience how deflating it is when you arrange meetings and very few turn up) All good here, probably using car more this year than for a long time??
Regards to all , stay safe

Thanks for the upload of the recording. The guys at CG were helpful in my rebuild and highly recommended.

I have only just signed up to PCGB, I bought my '99 C2 Coupe a few weeks ago.

This presentation sounds interesting, is the download available?
Thanks

I watched this over the weekend, plenty of useful information, so a thanis to CG and the organisers.

I have a query whether standard top mounts are ok with M030 on a 99 C2. I see that Design911 offer a different item for x73 & m030, but Porsche Centre Tonbridge tell me it’s the normal one for M030.

Are Chris or Peter watching the thread? If not I will give them a call.

I believe the m030 top mounts use a harder rubber compound. I recently changed my m030 mounts to standard, but there again I changed the the whole suspension to coilovers.
