You're not alone Duncan. Here's a recent post which may be helpful: https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.asp?m=882868&mpage=1&key=zunsport&#882868 Jeff

Hi has anyone fitted these and if so how did they fit and look, plus is it true that they can voide your warranty ?

Cheers but new to this game and can't believe that Porsche would leave it open like that as even mine with just 1000 miles on is getting battered on the rads

Any help and advise would be welcome
Cheers dunc

Thanks been reading up on them and by the look of it some find it hard to fit and others easy Like the idea and the look of them and going to give them a go and see how I get on Cheers

One last think as far as cooling goes and warranty then take a look at the gt4 and guess what it has mesh on the grills so if it's ok for the GT4 then can't see it being a problem with the GTS

Dunc, you could ask the Porsche Centre if they will fit them for you since they should not fit something which negates the warranty, I have tried to get confirmation out of the dealerships in the past and while many will say that they would ignore the grilles if they ask the warranty suppliers who are insurance schemes not actually Porsche well we know how insurers can be about any modifications the fact is that the grilles improve the longevity of the condensers and rads so why should they object, the cooling temp is controlled by thermostat for circulation and thermostatic switched fans for air flow, in our climate well it's hardly tropical.

People have been banging on about the issue on this forum for as long as I can remember Duncan. As Kevan says, if you're concerned about warranty implications it would be wise to contact your own PC before fitting the grilles to get their take on the matter. As you say, the GT4 has three mesh grilles so I can't see there being a problem with your GTS in our climate. Jeff

Well fitted them today and must say it looks much better for them Quite hard to fit the lower end ones but got there in the end Plus I can easy remove them if I need to but can't see it being a problem Thanks all

Seeing Duncan's grilles at the Althorp get together prompted me to buy the Zunsport grilles for my Gen2 S, I had made a pair for my Gen1 S which I would fit and use through the autumn to the spring to stop leaf build up but the Gen2 being PDK has a centre rad which had quite a lot of impact marking! I emailed one local dealership who said they would only be concerned if the grilles actually could be identified as a cause of corrosion or overheating, another I asked years ago was noncommittal and Porsche GB never replied. If anyone is concerned the best option would be to remove the grilles before taking their car into the dealership.

After hitting a pigeon my mind was made up to get some sort of protection for those gaping holes in the front. Fortunately the pigeon hit the number plate, but I had visions of the central radiator being crushed. Fitted my Zunsport grills last week. The only one I struggled with was the large central grill, otherwise the rest just snapped in. I am happy with the look and now can spend less time vacuuming leaves (and potentially feathers) after a drive.

The clips seemed to be about 2 mm too short to get the hooks to go over the plastic trim. It may not seem much but no amount of force was going to get them to budge. I ended up filing a notch in the trim, now they fit snugly.

I had to bend my grills a bit to get them to fit nicely, but as you say once in they are fine but I for one won't be removing them when mine goes back to Porsche as they are to much of a pain to get out again, also I have the painted trim which these fit in and that makes it more difficult as not scratching it was hard.

but they do look good and help protect the rads

I had to modify the curve of two of my grilles the RH and the Centre items but the centre one is just held under compression and fits well when in position
