How to upload photos in to your posts

Hi All,

Here is a quick tutorial for anybody wanting to upload photos of their trips, mods, cars, days out etc in theirs or anybody else's posts.

1. Go to www.photobucket.com and create an account, remember your username and password.
2. Once the photobucket account is created, upload your photos to the site. Just click Upload from the menu bar at the top of the page and away you go.
3. Once your photos are uploaded, click on one of the photos that you want to upload to the Porsche forum.
4. Once selected, look down the right hand side of the screen and you will see 'Share This Photo'. Underneath the 'Share This Photo' heading, hover your cursor over the bottom box, the box that has IMG to the left of it.
5. When you hover over the IMG box, the cursor will change to a hand. Click the box and this will copy the link of your image.
6. In your post on the forum, simply press ctrl+v keys together on your keyboard and this will paste the link of your photo in to the post from photobucket. Once you have copied the link in to the post, you should see something similar to the bit of code below. I have added some extra code so it doesn't show the image for tutorial purposes. If you now select 'Preview', the photo will appear in the post.

[../URL=http://s1381.photobucket.com/user/duffym2477/media/Blow%20Away%20The%20Cobwebs/10_zpsi4bjdqbt.jpg.html][../IMG]http://i1381.photobucket.com/albums/ah214/duffym2477/Blow%20Away%20The%20Cobwebs/10_zpsi4bjdqbt.jpg[/IMG][../URL]

7. To copy more photos, simply follow from step '3' again and repeat the process until your photos are uploaded. Remember to put a space between each image.
8. Select 'Submit Post' and see your photos in all their glory; happy days!

Hope this helps anybody who is not sure how to upload photos; any questions let me know.

No worries, Greg, hopefully we'll see more photos appear.

I'd love to see Steve and Shirley's photos from their visit to the Porsche factory.

Excellent post, Mark, just followed your instructions and photo posted successfully first time, cheers! Plus I've now got a Photobucket account, not had one before.
