Sunshine superman switch....

My sunroof switch seems to have taken on a life of its own - one touch open/close has stopped working on the rocker switch and the central (tilt) button and holding the rocker switch only operates the tilt function up and down now - confused!

I'm wondering, straight swap for a new switch or is there a way to clean up the contacts - or is there a smart relay unit somewhere that controls the various function?

The (rattley) sunroof is due attention when it goes in for a service next week - just wondering if I should ask them to pre-order a switch?

Cheers.

The roof system just comprises of the motor drive and switch - no relay. I don't know if you can strip the switch enough to clean the contacts, but you probably haven't got much to lose by seeing if there is a hole you can spray some contact cleaner into.

A new switch is £26.50+VAT

Thanks Richard I have also (now) understand there is a controller via switch reset sequence (presumably the controller built into the sunroof motor).
Will let you know how I get on.
Cheers.
