Wheel nut torque settings.

Hi ,
Any one know the torque settings for the wheel nuts as Iam taking the wheels off next weekend to paint the rear hubs .

130Nm (96 ft lb).

I was searching for this myself. The original setting was 96 ft/lb. Since 2013 the setting for 997 has gone to 118 ft/lb.
I would stick at the 96 ft/lb for 996 unless someone knows otherwise.

Porsche introduced the higher wheel bolt torque (160Nm) when they started using black wheel bolts in MY2012. They say it is OK to use 160 on the silver bolts, but I would say that your locking wheel nut key won't thank you if you do.
