I’m looking to get 997.1 C4S cabriolet. It’s a 2008 model, 60k miles on the clock. (£30k)

Any thoughts, pros, cons, things I need to look out for?

Private or dealer?
Service history?
Check reg on https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history to see any advisories on recent MOTs.
Ask to get it on a two post lift to do a visual check on brakes (pads/discs/condition of pipes), suspension, front coolant pipes, any corrosion or signs of damage. Ideally get someone to go along with you.
Worth giving your general location, you might find a member nearby who can help you.

Unless the dealer is a reputable/recognised Porsche Independent, you may want to consider having a PPI carried out which could throw-up some negotiable issues price-wise.

Being a late Gen1 997 there shouldn’t be any IMS bearing issues, but there’s always a possibility of bore scoring on these cars which a borescope test should identify.
