05 Cooper S > Boxster 2.5????

over the years we have had them all .. 2.5 thru 2.7 thru 3.2S and and now 3.4S 987 ... to be honest ....... they are ALL stunning cars

On the Boxster 10 Year track play day we had our 987 3.2 and it was our first track day ever .. we drove it with as much gusto as we "dared" .. we got passed by more experienced drivers in 2.5's [:D]

Pick the best car you can get .. they are all Boxsters .. and are all stunning .. enjoy

As the owner of a Mini Cooper S auto and a 987 Boxster 2.7 tip - its not a difficult choice which to use especially for long distance. Mini ideal for town parking, airport parking and a good vehicle for winter but does not give you that "special drive".

Anyone have any thoughts on the above 2.5?

Looks like a cracking car to me. I love that interior - the combination of full red leather and silver exterior - excellent in my view.

Don't forget to get a full Pre Purchase Inspection !

You may be able to get a better price privately - but at £11,000 it still seems like a lot of car for the money.

I cannot understand why you are even tempted by the mini - so dull in comparison. Only consider it if you need a fixed roof and four seats. They are totally different cars.

It's a mini, based on a VW golf platform (?) versus a thoroughbred convertible two seater sports car.

Go on, get the Porker you know it makes sense.
