12 August 2nd Tour Of The East Midlands TOTEM

Hi Ralph
There are 5 places left on the tour so if you get your entry in fairly soon it should be OK
If you had last month's Porsche Post the details of how to apply for an entry form is in there (if you have not thrown away the address label it was printed on the reverse of that) or if you try the link on this thread again give it plenty of time for the photos to load and then click on the small icon in the middle of the page.
Hope to see you in August if not before
Cheers
Tom

Hi Tom,
I've spoken to Peter and he has penciled me on the list and is just waiting on my form in the post.
Cheers
Ralph

Hi Tom, Kerry,

I have been accepted on the long list too, just waiting for the paperwork.
See you on the day.

Have booked the sun, but she's been very un-reliable this year.

David.

Hi Ralph and David

Along with all the other entrants, you will be receiving you final instructions, by post, in the next few days.

Cheers
Tom

The tour is now full so if anyone one else wishes to enter then I will start a reserve list in case of dropouts. Just let me know if you wish to be put on the reserve list.

Got my tour instructions yesterday, very much looking forward to this event! I see driver briefing is at 8:40am, but anyone know what time the OPC will be opening?

Cheers!

Hi
The Leicester OPC will be open from 8.00 am

Cheers

Hi Tom

I received my info regarding the TOTEM when I got back from my hols but there wasn't an actual "Tulip" booklet included, only an example. Do we get the actual booklet when we arrive at the OPC in Leicester?

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul
The single page from the tulip book included in the final instructions is just to help familize anyone who has not used one before.
Everyone will receive the full booklet at signing on, on Sunday
Cheers
Tom

Have to say of all the events we have attended over the years this was the best organised and a superb day
i know how much effort it takes to arrange these so a huge thankyou to all the team who helped in sorting and ensuring the day went well.
The weather was even kind for a change[:)]
Hope we are allowed back next year it was fantastic!!!!!
Many thanks again to all

Big thanks from Lisa and I. Had a really fantastic day. This event just gets better and better. Looking forward to next year. Mike

Adrian and all other organisers, many thanks for a truly wonderful day. Days like yesterday are the reason that I bought a Porsche and joined PCGB.

Tom & Kerry, thanks for making three "outsiders" so welcome, as you always do. R8 would certainly win the prize for most friendly region in our opinion.

To all the new people we met yesterday many thanks for your company, some great memories.

And finally to Dave from Leeds (I think it was Dave, I'm terrible with names) thanks for showing us the Nurburgring App we did finally find our photo.

Best wishes to everyone,

Many thanks Tom, Kerry, Adrian and all the team and of course OPC Leicester for an absolutely fantastic day! It was great to meet you all for the first time and to be part of a 1st Class event. To all of you that were on our table (we were the last to get served haha!) thanks for making us so welcome. To all of you who took the wrong route because we were leading then please accept my apologies (I blame the navigator!). Looking forward to getting together at future events.

Paul and Lynne

Good morning to you all.
On behalf of the organising team I would like to say thank you to all the entrants on The Totem last weekend.
It was a pleasure to put on the event for such a nice group of people, to see everyone enjoying themselves makes it all worthwhile.
Big thanks to Tom and Kerry for all their support.

See you next year.

Best wishes and happy motoring.

Adrian
