1989 Turbo Limited Edition

I had one of the last registered Turbo 2 (3.3) and I ran it for 18 months and p/x for a Turbo 2 (3.6).
I found the 3.6 to be a very demanding car to drive quickly and at the time had just started to do track days. The straight line performance was,and still is awsome, but the power delivery very aggresive, with 360bhp,rear wheel drive, and no tricky electrical aids.
I think however that it was a superb car and with so few built, will proove to be a good long term buy if you can find a good example, which hasnt had a few excursions off the black stuff!!
Of the cars I have owned, it is always the one I regret selling the most, probably because it was rare, great looking,(18"speedlines etc)and for the 2 years I owned it I was always learning and never honestly felt I had mastered it .(It was a brute)
Hope this helps

John

Thanks for all the help.

I have found out that someone who knows someone has a 930 turbo that has been sat for 2 years!!!!
Supposedly it starts and moves ok but is leaking oil from the cam cover which is dripping on the heat exchange, is this an easy fix.

What other nightmares might there be?

Am I mad to be thinking about this?
