1990 Turbo FOR SALE

I've often thought it would be nice to rebuild a 944 (to modified spec) on a brand new shell. Getting a rust free r/h drive car from somewhere where it doesn't rain would be a great option. I like your thinking that man.
 
Just thought i would mention that I have a few parts for sale also-
1-Brand new bumper mounted spotlamp for s2 or turbo
2-Set of headlights including lids and lifting mechanisim, motor etc

I carn't go any lower, as I may aswell just keep her and have it resprayed in the summer. Should also mention the car had the Cylinder head fully reconditioned at 124k miles.
There are 28 stamps in the service book (up to 139k Miles) and Hartech has looked after this car ever since.
 
Hi all, I just found my old user name (simonpforrest) before having to re-register.
Starting to get phone calls about the car now, and I've got it advertised on PistonHeads. Christmas really is a bad time of year to sell your car ! I'm still not in a hurry to part with it anyway.

I have often been attracted to the idea of importing a pre 74 911 from south africa. However since this isn't a new idea I think loads of ppl have already snapped up any available bargains. ISTR some guy near where I worked 5 years ago was bringing in old VW camper vans and bettles, Karman ghia etc's all 100% rust free.
 
Hi all, Sorry to bring back old posts. I'm not having much luck selling my 944 turbo, so as a last attempt in finding a new owner, I am prepared to accept £4000 for it. I know its not cosmetically perfect but mechanically its good. This has got to be one of the cheapest late model 944 turbos about. Please contact me for further imformation.

Car is now sold !
I virtually gave it away (£3200) Still it went to a enthusiast who has had 944's and 911's in the past. He saw past the cosmetic issues and bought it because of it's mechanical condition & comprehensive service history.
It must have been one of the cheapest Bridge spoiler turbo's in the country !
I WILL replace the car, when my teenage children have there own transport[;)]
