1st Service - Minor - Dealer OR Specialist?

Imi,

There is a policy of no naming and shaming of dealers and service providers etc on the forum, while we may agree or disagree with this or with comments and everyone at some times is likely to be disappointed it could result in posts being removed.

Just thought that I'd let you know and remind others while it is good to know who other members will recommend it is not to be allowed to give "bad press" whether deserved or not.

I think this varies from centre to centre too. I had a "meet the tech" session before a fluid change recently and I asked him if it was hard to reach both sides. He had that look on his face that said to me he was aware this is a contentious point and said he would remove my wheels to do it as it only took him 5 mins to do so. Of course I don't know that he did or not!

This is true, we never know just what they have done, one once left the nipple caps off and one was gone all together when I noticed but it was only the outers... it's doubtful if just bleeding the outers would clear the inner cylinders in my view.

Happy New Year to all.

Quick question - was told by the dealer that the fogging lights are normal - attached are two pics - can you please confirm whether you experience similar issues with your lights. I find it hard to accept that Porsche in 2015 cant get lights to not mist up...

Yep seen it a lot especially in this weather.

Also seen it on valeting Porsches where they receive a lot longer wash method.

They always seem to dry out.

Hi All

what is the procedure of making an official complaint to Porsche GB and HQ about the disappointing service received through their dealer - if anyone has gone down this path before or has any advice to share then id appreciate it if you PM me directly - am aware of the non-naming & shaming policy of this forum so want to adhere to that while getting the issue at hand appropriately resolved.

I will prepare a detailed account of the events tomorrow.

many thanks
