OK cheers, I'm just thinking some form of antidazzle on the passenger side would be nice as these cars are quite low compared to everyones headlights which seem to reflect perfectly into my eyes while driving at night.

Edit: I don't no why I thought 271 was antidazzle but I stand corrected.

I have a 2002 996tt and also have a plain glass mirror on the passenger side, but rubber lip around the drivers side mirror. No receipts in the history to imply one or other has been changed. My rubber edging actually feels like hard plastic/a bonded part of the mirror.

Do you find peoples headlights dazzle quite alot?

Just a quick upate, I emailed my local opc and they told me it's the 35 04 option, however it's now £335 + vat! I should of ordered one last year :(.

Ive gone for the flat anti dazzle as it was only 140 quid i cant justify 400 for a mirror. Is the best technique to remove the mirror to tilt it towards the body then tug it?

Ive changed it with no problems. However the car seemingly was not specced with anti dazzle on the lhs so theres no connector for it (there is for the heating element tho) so i don't suppose any of you know if it can be retrofited?

Cheers

Chris
