20 inch Wheels but no PASM

Hi,
I noticed on the Boxster 718 buying guide that it is recommended that with anything larger than the standard 18 inch wheels that the PASM should be added as an option, I recently put a deposit down on a 718 with the 20 inch wheels, but no PASM, I was wondering what those owners who have this set up thought about the ride quality and how it deals with our rough roads?
thanks
Howie

When the 718 was launched I tried a base car with 18" wheels and no PASM on the same bumpy B roads as an S with 20" wheels and PASM. The ride with the 20" wheels with PASM (in "normal" mode, ie Sport not engaged, the PASM switch not depressed) was so much better than the 18"/non-PASM car that I was really surprised and wouldn't contemplate 20" wheels (or any others for that matter!) without PASM. PASM also eliminates the noticeable fore/aft pitching which I have experienced on all non-PASM cars including my previous 987.2, the aforementioned non-S 718 and various 718 courtesy cars I have had since, which I find uncomfortable. Just my opinion of course but hope that helps.
