And, Peter Robinson's initial ananylis confirms what you and I both thought. The 987 will drive better on the 18" wheels, rather than the extra cost 19"s. The BMW (E46) M3 was exactly the same.

Oliver if the 997"S" PASM suspension set up is replicated on the 987 with 19" wheels, then I think it would prove a classic case of if it ain't broke don't try and fix it school of thought :ROFLMAO:

I think Tiff Needells 5th gear test was too focussed on the PASM set to sport mode on a track thrash and not in the real world of crappy roads where most of these cars will spend most of there lifes. On the track it may be the best electronic toy ever but it was very unpleasant pottering around London tarmac [&o]
 
Incidentally, when I was on Autobahn's website today and was subsequently talking to them about our new Boxster, they have a very nicely specced 2nd Generation car coming into the UK in December. Obviously good for those people who don't mind like me having an import.

They also have a current shape Seal Grey 2.7 in stock for anyone who fancies bagging one of the current shape cars. Interestingly the 2 ex management cars that was for sale at my local OPC at the end of last month - are still for sale but are both £2K cheaper.
