2022 Macan sitting at dealer for 1 month. NO AMP?

Ordered the car April , got an earlier car than expected , was delivered to OPC first week Oct without the Bose amp , which is a quick dealer fit , when they get one ??

That's what's winding me up. People have clearly ordered after me, and their cars have been built. Unless some dealers just ordered a load of Macan's then let customers change the spec to what they wanted. Which I know does happen.

I’ve been chasing this up for a couple of members whose new cars have been on Stop Sale for some weeks now, due to a missing control box which is connected to the Bose equipment and is also linked to the parking sensors.
I understand that a supply of components is due at the end this month. Not ideal but at least this is positive news for all those who’ve been calling for clarification as to when they might expect to finally take delivery of their new Macan‘s.

Thanks Mike, that is consistent with what I have been told too. The main issue I have is that I contacted PorscheGB 10 days ago to raise a complaint and have chased. Not even had an acknowledgement.

I got my Mecan S in June. I ordered a car with 18 way adjustable seats but it wasn’t all there. The steering is manual movement. I got half my money for that option back.
As regards Bose. I have it and am not that impressed. Can you ask them to revert to the basic porsche set up and a refund on the option price ?
If your thinking of cancelling you may consider an Audi SQ. I had one before the porsche and considered it to be just as good as the Mecan, possibly a better looking car if you look beyond the badge snobbery.

Just had a call from my salesman. Some good news.

While no build date in sight, my finance quotation was locked in. While 6.4% was high (I would have shopped around once car almost delivered) compared to BMW finance's 3.2% it now turn out that today a 6.4% is pretty damn good.

Current Porsche finance 10.9% and salesman said it's going up to 12% next month.

Hi all,
Looks like many of us have the same issue (I was told 800 cars) .
I ordered my new GTS in Sept 2021. At the time I was quoted 9-12 months delivery (this wasn't a surprise). In July I was told to expect deliver around the end of Sept 2022.
I was due to collect the car on Monday 3rd of October. On Friday 30th Sept I was told it was on "stop sale" with no explanation given. After about I week I was told it was due to the faulty Bose Amp etc.
Several weeks passed with no communication from Porsche AG. whenever I called my dealer, I was told they have no news.
Finally today I was told I can pick up on Saturday Dec 3rd (2 months after the original date).
I understand that technical issues and delivery delays are happening more and more. But my main issue was the lack of communication from Porsche AG, and the disrespect they show to their customers.
Because they can sell as many cars as they make should not be a reason to treat customers in this way, they should remember that buying a Porsche is a major investment for most people.

Since ordering my Macan back in February, I have found the whole buying experience to be a huge let down. Constantly chasing test drives. Chasing Track day experience, only to find out they wrote my email address wrongs, and only half my home address.

I was in a couple weeks ago to finalise my specification. And as the Porsche system was down (been down on 2 out of 3 occasions I've been in) I had to keep chasing them to send me the paperwork to check and sign to make sure the car was ordered with my correct specification. 2 weeks it took. It's not like they are run off their feet either.

Maybe if you're a `very good` customer you get treated slightly different?

On the AMP issue. They did have a few cars in the showroom that are awaiting AMP's. Macan had been sat there for over 2 months.

Woohoo! Finally arrived this morning, very happy with it but as others have shared the experience hasn been far from great.
