220bhp or 250bhp Turbo???

I don't think mine does. Perhaps mine is broken

Isn't that just typical. Not only do I worry about strange noises because something might be wrong, now you've got me worrying about the lack of a strange noise because something might be wrong.

Ah stuff it! The same solution works with strange noises or lack of strange noises - turn the radio up louder. [;)]

Thanks for all your comments so far guys.
Very helpful.
Any idea when ABS became standard or if indeed it was on the 220bhp.
Thanks again.

I've got an 86 220T and it does not have ABS but does have an LSD and factory fitted sports suspension.
I've driven an S2 a lot and IMHO the Turbo is much more fun (Boost addiction :)
Spending well under £2000 on tuning get's you something very fast indeed (the stock car is awesome)
The only mod to mine is a boost enhancer which was worth every penny @ £99.00
Turbo Lag is almost non existent unless you get the revs / gearing wrong
I can't comment on the 250 because I've never driven one but they are certainly more expensive.
You can get a real bargain if you shop carefully for a 220, I know I did.

At the present time I can't ever see me changing this car (It's not my daily drive) as I honestly can't think of anything I'd like too own more.

HTH, Tim.

Yes John Maraschino Rot is the rather rare metallic burgundy but the first owner had the good taste to order sports seats in full leather, sort of biscuit/cream colour along with light trim etc. Contrasts rather nicely.

That sounds like a great combination - if not the only sensible choice for a metalic burgundy. I've got burgundy mats with my linen biscuit/cream interior and I think it looks great, very classy looking.
