240bhp !

Couldn't agree with you more about companies who make unsubstantiated claims for bolt on 'performance enhancing ' products. The rule of 'caveat emptor' applies when buying from these people. I think dyno figures should be compulsory for products claiming performance improvements; This is a whole different world away from RB and similar folk who apply a lifetimes aquired knowledge and build something beyond factory spec. pretty much how Weissach operate with the race programmes based on 'customer cars', (obviously better funded and with greater resources at Weissach though- it's modification all the same).

The dark shading is there for every car - so its not just me.  John's video is more illuminating as you can see oil smoke from my car on lift off - as I have said, there are "issues" to solve post rebuild.  Oil consumption indicates something like a pinched valve stem seal and dyno indicates there is still hp to be found.  Pity I couldn't get AFRs from Weltmeister which would go a long way to solving the second issue.
Richard - Didn't figure it was just your motor, or even your motor! Imagine it has slowly increased over a period of time, unless someone had a serious oil control problem eh! But I guess I was right about it being oil.

I've had a go at your plot. Obviously no problem increasing the size, but not sure the system will except it! I'm giving it a try! Don't know exactly how it works.

I assume your graphic is a facsimile? Did you upload it from a photograph or a scan? It lacks ............. sharpness. What's the original like?

I'm not familiar with the valve stem oil seals. What type are they? Simple, complex, one piece, multiple ........... ?
