I am sure the car is going to a good home - and Dave will be appearing on this very forum in due course....
He's bought the car to use as a daily driver / track car, so it's just right for him - his other car's a Vanquish, so I guess he needed at least one reliable car in the garage [

Dave was quite surprised how much better mine drove than an S2 he'd tried (maybe I'd have priced my car higher if I'd driven a few shoddy 944's?). It's going to be hard letting the car go, but it's time for something a bit more raw & track focused. Probably an E36, but not definite yet. It may well depend what turns up in the classifieds on pistonheads - unless anyone knows of a 924S with a 968 motor for sale? I got quite excited about that one last month until i saw the pics of the 2.5 8V lump
I may brief him on the obvious newbie questions like "how do I reset the tripmeter" - save you all the bother then I'll join the sad band of forumistas who are ex-944 owners..[
