27th+28th April(Anglesey+Porsches on the Prom)

Thats great. Ill arrive lymm truck services at 0915. If we depart from there at 0930 that should be cool So far Im expecting 4 of us? Me, mr968, chrishowie and bang1955. If anyone else is joining please post back so we know who to expext and dont leave without anyone! Will keep checking this forum until Sat eve. See you Sunday! Cheers all, Mark

Unbelievable. Personally, I wouldn't have even asked them, it is a public car park. How did they intend to stop you, there are no entrance barriers! At least PCGB can take the moral high ground for courtesy and its ability to swiftly make alternative arrangements! Good luck chaps and look forward to seeing you all on Sunday. And if anyone can be persuaded to set off a day early and join us on track so much the better - we still have half a dozen places it would be nice to fill and it will be lovely and quiet on track.

Totally agree - it's only a rendezvous point after all! Not that it worries me, as I'll be having my breakfast in a local hotel [:D]! Graham

I assume you're meeting in the car-park part of the Lymm truck stop, and not the truck part (just checking!) Rob

Hi All, Yes - meet in the car park bit - all on google maps - J20 off the M6 (either direction), Lymm truck services, (well signed) - just a coupla roundabouts off the junction. We'll meet just in the car park bit just in front of Maccie Ds. I'm gonna land about 0900/0915 and if we look to leave in convoy at 0930 then that should be cool. So far I'm counting on a six car convoy as follows - but if anyone else catches this post beforehand then please feel free to join! I've got this post thread synced to my iphone so will be able to check again just before we set off tomorrow. As I understand it, the convoy will be rob sharp stevenash56 chrishowie bang1955 mr968 and me cheers all - see you at Lymm 0915 tomz.

Roof wouldn't go down as tho there was no power so couldn't get to the engine. RAC checked all fuses all ok, micro switch he thought was working as the parking light came on, he said I will try disconnecting the battery which got the car started but still no hood operation. Anyway we made it to the prom to the site of all the cars lined up. What a great site. Shame about the weather. Thank you for the warm welcome this morning at Lymm.

Good view of the cars from up here !!!!
