Theres a few of us booked on to do the Track day at Donnington Park on Friday 28th August.
Its the FULL GP track layout, for those who have never done this. [ myself included]..It might be one of the last times youl be able to, if the proposed alterations go ahead, in readiness for the F1 GP in 2010....
So im giving you chaps plenty of time to get your acts together, for a possible gathering .
Yes its a friday, + i realise this might be awkward for some of you..

I'll be there 'cos I live there[:D] Tee up nearer the day, hopefully should be on the road with the Sport by then. Cheers Dave
 
Cheers for the heads up Dave, hopefully when the car is on the road I can look to do a few track days. Need a couple of *extra* jobs doing at the mo. Barry has picked up a replacement sump (found a hairline crack in mine), and it really needs the belts doing before we put the motor back in. Having said all that should be rolling around in 2 or 3 weeks time then will need a final blow over and screen bonding in etc. If I miss the chance to sign on I will likely pop along in the 968 instead anyway.
 
I've always found the GP loop to spoil the flow of the track a little, but it's a definite must drive nonetheless. I'm quite tempted to book as I've not been to Donington for ages but that will depend upon work, so can't commit just yet [:(].
 
Not sure if I can make it, as I forgot that its a bank holiday weekend and I'm meant to be going to Poole with the family for the weekend! Darn
 
I've got the day off especially, so I'll be there to spectate and take a few snaps [:D]
 
Ok , so its looking like theres 4 of us,, 2 on track + 2 tyre kickers,,, oops spectators...... Any more of you folks fancy a day out 968,ing....
 
Hi, Another tyrekicker! Hopefully I'll finish work early enough to come up for a bit - I live in Leicester but maybe working anywhere! Just got a new camera to try. Mike
 
Mike. Hi. Your more than welcome to come and watch. If you bring a helmet you could even get some pax laps, if your lucky... Any more coming along.?? Oh + bring the fine weather with you....[8D][;)][8D][;)]
 
Hi Dave Thanks for that Will bring helmet, only previous pax laps with Peter Empson at silverstone last week. Work looking good for 1/2 day at least. Mike
