Why does JWB look like jellybean to me ? !

Thanks for the info John, --- shame I missed having a look at it !

Nearly popped in on Sunday but I guess it wasn't in the showroom.

Hi guys!
The car sold for £130,000! This really is a time warp car! Never been in the rain! Been in dehumidified storage for the last six years! Even the speed lines aren't corroded!!! The car will be heading to its lucky new owner in Hong Kong in February!

All the best for Christmas and a peaceful new year !!

John

Wow!...many tks for the update JWB, that certainly exceeded my expectations,,,but, try to find another...... have a good Xmas and all the best for the New Year.

Thanks John.

Reasons to be cheerful, --- just a shame it's going to be in somebody else's playground !

Hi John
Does he fancy an immaculate RHD 36k mile runabout for everyday use...... for about 129k[;)][8|]
Nice sale.... have a good Christmas, mate.
Cheers
Johnny

John,

How do you send the car overseas - container or roll-on roll-off ship? Any recommendations?

Harry

Depends on what you mean by "overseas".
UK - Med is served by ro-ro lines but more distant destinations by containerships.
Overall it would probably be safer to send the vehicle in a box. Any freight forwarding company could sort out the trip for you.
nb due to current fierce competition you should be able to get a pretty keen deal.

Harry,i would say around £7k,last qoute i had from the usa for the 964rsr that we bought was £6k 1 year ago.We shipped it in for £1500.
A couple of year ago i flew the 906 from Colarado USA for £4k
Dont forget the insurance, around 1% to 2% of value

Are you selling Harry ? Tom Schmitz emailed me wanting to buy my 993 rs today, I declined however I would be tempted at the
95,000 euro's he recently valued it at, he did want to know how much GBP, it would have to be in euro's for sure Tom.

Rather tempting if one can get 95000 Euros! I am not sure what I want to do at the moment. Perhaps if I can cobble together enough for a F40 I might sell [:D] (read unlikely [&o]).

Harry

Please ease up on these valuations threads,,,I intend to keeping my car, but if we could achieve such values for our cars it is certainly tempting! [:(]

F40 now your talking !![:D]

Not for me far too commonplace, they made more of these than regular 993RS, let alone clubsports,,,,,,then again I have seen photos of examples actually driven catch fire, so perhaps there are fewer left after all?[:D]
