300 bhp in Tunbridge Wells / Oulton 11/11/09

If that is true it would be amazing -- no need to lust after all those exotic cars that JK has -- save your money and get all your kicks from a good 968 instead!

Then again us discerning 968 owners knew this all along !!

RE 2nd part of this thread -- as it happens I am going to Oulton on the 11th Nov -- see you there

good day all in all(well half a day for me as usual, work always gets in the way)

apparently quite a few red flags in the morning, and 2(at least) in the afternoon, quite slippy and still damp even into the early afternoon, and somebody letting oil on the track didn't help and was serious enough to cause one of the red flags, all the way from Shell hairpin and through Druids. While taking it easy in the Turbo a Blue MX5 overtook me(on a yellow/red flag I think) then span on the oil at Knickerbrook.

I had the opportunity to drive a mostly standard 944 Turbo as well as Barry's 3.0 944 Turbo and the difference is far more than I thought, the standard being much 'laggier' no real grunt until 4300.
