356 International DENMARK

ORIGINAL: Robin

We have also received our confirmation for the 356 International meeting this morning. 1962 356B super 90 Champagne yellow.

Larry and i will be there in our freshly restored 356c which we hoped would be run in and ready by now but we are still awaiting registration from DVLA.
oh th frustration

Helen, I have the same problem (almost). My coupe is almost there, just finishing the doors, some external trim and the interior. Then need my engine back from Paul Smith, but I can't take the risk so am having to get my cabriolet ready just in case as well!
Oh the hard work! [:(]

now looking extremly unlikely that we are going to get the car registered in time. let alone run in and tested. [&o][&o]

i have seriously bad experience of breaking down abroad. i really don't want to repeat it.

so i have cancelled. i'm sure there will be a few cheers from the British contingent

I am going on that ferry. Look out for my heron grey coupe (if it's ready) or for the cab.
It would be great to meet you both.

Many thanks to Paul Kelly & the fantastic Danish team.. i'm sorted and am booked back in.

also Thanks to DVLA who have re-arranged the inspection of the 356 and been very helpful. also thanks to Paul & Mike at PR Services who have agreed to squeeze the 356 in for a service provided we can get the miles on the new engine in time.

its again looking promising that we MIGHT actually make it in the 356. [8D]

please please no more hick-ups or stress, i think i have ages 10 years in the year its taken us to restore this car.[] i need a holiday.

Nothing in life is ever easy..[]

engine didn't last more than 30 miles so (to cut a very long story short) the car is now with Andy Prill whos going to re-build the engine, now even he might struggle to do that by next Weds so he has lent me a engine so i can attend the international. [8D][8D]

now i just got to sort out my fathers funeral []
